Another month flys by and it's October already. This month sees the return of an old favourite AG kit, Northdown Wonder which would be perfect for Christmas and New Year celebrations. Also please see below for details on Barley Bottom closing for a week at the end of October.

New AG Kit - Northdown Wonder
This has beer always been a favourite at Barley Bottom and we've always had a great response to the recipe so now we're offering it as an all-grain kit: Full bobied bitterness with fruity and citrus over tones, easy drinking.
Statistics: 4.9% ABV, 36 IBU & 8.3 SRM.

New Products
We're now stocking Golden Promise malt - used extensively by distillers and brewers alike & available in 1kg (£1.59) and 25kg amounts (£32.99).
New Pacific Gem hops - Alpha Acid 14.6% - New Zealand variety, high alpha acid with distinctive blackberry aroma and woody character - £2.99.
Powdered isinglass is now availabe online in 36g packs & will make 6 litres of isinglass (just £4.99), but you can make as much or as little as you need. In its dried state isinglass will last indefinitely but is best used within 8 weeks when made up.
New for the website are brown beer bottles in a case of 12. Professionally recycled. Do your bit for the environment and save money by using recycled bottles. The bottles are cleaned and inspected by a local business and are available in a range of sizes on request: 250ml, 330ml, 375ml, 500ml and 568ml. Currently on special offer at £3.49 (normally £4.49).
Barley Bottom Closing For A Week
Barley Bottom will be closed for a week at the end of October between 31st October 2009 and 9th November 2009.
To ensure you get what you need before then, last orders will be on Wednesday 28th October. Any orders placed after midday on Wednesday 28th October will not be delivered until after Barley Bottom re-opens on Monday 9th November.
Please make sure you get your orders in well before the deadline to ensure a prompt delivery.
